Norwich City boss Dean Smith insists they're not giving up on their Premier League status.

Norwich face Burnley in what you could describe as a relegation six-pointer on Sunday, and Smith says his side will keep "battling all the way".

"Burnley are scrapping for every point and have been in this situation many times," said Smith.

"They got a well deserved win on Wednesday.

"I've never been relegated and I want that to continue. I know it's going to be tough but we'll be battling every step of the way."

Teenage forward Jonathan Rowe impressed off the bench against Brighton but Smith says he still needs to decide whether the 18-year-old should start against Burnley.

"It wasn't a great performance against Brighton but it was a good result and hopefully we can take some confidence going into this game," said Smith.

"Jonathan's [Rowe] performances from the bench have been really good so far.

"I've got to judge whether he can do it from the start."
