Sadio Mane will not talk about an extension with Liverpool until the end of the season, his agent has confirmed.
The Senegalese star helped his country book their place at the World Cup 2022 by beating Egypt this week.
There has been plenty of buzz around Mohamed Salah's future with his contract set to expire in 2023, but Mane is also out of contract at the same time.
Mane's agent, Bjorn Bezemer, told TFM Senegal: "We talk a lot with Liverpool but currently we are not talking about a contract extension, we are waiting for the end of the season."
Bezemer also revealed Mane declined any public celebration of Senegal's African Cup of Nations final victory over Egypt in February.
"He had a good reception in the dressing room when he got back," Bezemer added. "But then the timing just wasn't right with the Leicester game on [the] Thursday.
"The club wanted to do something but the timing wasn't right with two away games coming. The ceremony would've been two weeks after that and Sadio asked them to just focus on the remainder of the season.
"It didn't have a lot to do with Mo. It was a 100 per cent a Sadio decision, not the club's."
