PETALING JAYA:The Health Ministry reported 16 Covid-19 deaths yesterday.
The death toll now stands at 35,465.
Eight of the deaths was classified as brought-in-dead (BID) case.
Penang recorded four deaths, followed by Kedah and Perak (3 each), Johor and Selangor (2 each) and Sabah and Kuala Lumpur (1 each).
There were no deaths in the other states and Labuan and Putrajaya.
Meanwhile, the ministry also reported 6,968 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative infections to 4,409,202.
