Semporna Marine Operations Headquarters Commanding Officer DSP Mohamad Ismail said his team detected the suspicious movement of a boat while patrolling the area.

The 12 gallons of petrol were discovered during inspections on the boat. The seizure estimated to be worth RM17,838 were brought to the Semporna Marine Operations Headquarters for further investigation.
On that note, he advised the maritime community to contact the Sabah Marine Operations Centre via WhatsApp at 0139391197 with information about criminal activity in their area.
