REIGNING Unduk Ngadau Maya Hejnowska will be the star attraction at the charity golf tournament organised by Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South (RCKKS) at the Dalit Bay Golf & Country Club today (Monday).
State-level Kaamatan’s Unduk Ngadau Chairperson Joanna Datuk Kitingan said in a statement on Sunday that Maya’s appearance to support the event is one of their missions to liaise with other non-government organisations in humanitarian service to the community.
“We will be joining the effort with Happy Family Homes Malaysia, our long time partner in constructing accommodation for the needy,” she said.
She called on the public to join in the event and there is a photoshoot opportunity with Maya and others from 11am to 1.30pm.
The funds generated at the event will be used for the moving costs of the newly built girls hostels in Kampung Bantayan which is a humanitarian project to assist underprivileged girls for their education undertaken by Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South together with HELP foundation and Maybank.
