Thomas Tuchel insists fireworks let off by Everton supporters outside the Chelsea hotel did not impact the result at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Supporters left off fireworks in the middle of the night ahead of the match.
Everton eventually won 1-0 at home, keeping them within two points of safety.
Asked if the fireworks at the team hotel impacted him, Tuchel said: "Absolutely not. I personally woke up twice at 1am, and 3am for one minute and after the noise.
"I turned around and kept on sleeping."
Asked about his team's performance, "Very disappointed. We knew what was coming, and like in the last matches, we struggled to have clean sheets.
"In the last four matches, we have one clean sheet against West Ham, and it is the only win we have. So very disappointed."
