KOTA KINABALU - Sabah Bersatu has been given the autonomous power to manage the party in the state since the beginning.

The party’s state deputy chief Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said Sabah Bersatu, being a party in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) was not a problem.

“From the beginning, Bersatu has stated that it has given us the discretion to manage ourselves (Sabah Bersatu) from the start. Although it was not clearly stated, I assume that we are given the autonomy indirectly.

"I think this is enough for us to form coalitions and one of the coalition that was formed was GRS," he said when met by reporters after the launching ceremony of GRS at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), on Saturday.

He said this when asked about Bersatu as a national party which is now in GRS.
