TAMBUNAN: Delvia Rachel Damianus, 21, from Kampung Rompon was crowned Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan (UNK) Tambunan after defeating 13 other competitors at the district-level Kaamatan festival held at Pisumpuruan Square here.
Delvia Rachel received prizes in the form of cash, crown, sash, trophy and beauty products.
Second and third placings went to Francesca Ann Filex from Kampung Tondulu and Cora Waybin, 22, from Kampung Bogian, respectively. They also took home prizes in the form of cash, trophies and beauty products.
Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey G Kitingan, officiated at the festival. It was attended by district officers and Chairman of the district-level Kaamatan Festival Implementation Committee, Sobitun Makanjil, heads of State and Federal government departments, political leaders and community leaders.
