Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers had an issue with Caglar Soyuncu not winning a challenge against Christian Romero in their 3-1 loss to Tottenham on Sunday.
The Foxes manager was generally pleased with his side's display, but felt they lacked cutting edge and did not defend diligently enough to get anything from the game.
Around the 60th minute, Soyuncu and Romero went for a ball in Leicester's half, which Romero won and helped to set up a Spurs goal.
"There's no problem with the tackle," he said of a Romero tackle on Soyuncu, which led to a Son Heung-min goal, via the Leicester Mercury.
"We have to win the tackle. I've got a problem with us not winning the tackle. Romero was strong and aggressive and that's what you want from your centre-half, so there's no problem with the tackle."
Asked about the overall performance from his team, Rodgers added: "I'm a little bit frustrated and pleased at the same time, which is a funny sort of emotion. I thought we started the game very well. In the opening 20 minutes, we had good control of the game, passed the ball well, and looked a threat. Hugo Lloris makes a really good save where he fingertips it onto the post to stop us going in front.
"I was frustrated over the first two goals. We've lacked aggression in that area (defending corners), and our ability to get the contact. And it's our cuteness as well, getting blocked and things like that. We've suffered from that throughout the season.
"But the reaction of the players was still good. We got our way back into the game and we reinforced at half-time that ability to keep working the ball and find the spaces, which they did do.
"But we conceded a really poor second goal. We can't lose that challenge when it's to your advantage. Then they break away and from that, we concede the second goal.
"At 2-0, the players could have felt sorry for themselves and unravelled, because this is a good team that can score lots of goals, but they didn't do that. They kept working, they kept fighting.
"Son scores a world-class goal. Him and Harry Kane are at that level where they're top players, so there's nothing you can do about that.
"The spirit was there, we kept trying to play our football and we get our reward through a really good goal by Kels. But soft goals at certain moments, that's cost us this season and that's the biggest disappointment.
"There are positives, players getting game-time and young Lewis Brunt making his first Premier League appearance. But it's not the result we wanted."
