Kota Kinabalu: Title hopefuls for this year’s State Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan (UNK) have been given an extra “assignment” of producing a one-minute video on “Culture, Agro-tourism and Nature” (Can).
State UNK organising chairperson Joanna Datuk Kitingan said, the videos would be evaluated by a panel of judges and the winner would win the newly-introduced subsidiary title of Can Ambassador Unduk Ngadau.
The result would be announced during the Sodop Unduk Ngadau Charity Dinner on May 29. During the same dinner, other subsidiary titles would also be presented.
“It is timely for us to introduce this segment as we are opening back our tourism industry,” she said.
