Representatives of Julian Alvarez say they expect him to stay with Manchester City next season.
The Argentina striker has been linked with a loan move to Olympique Marseille.
However an agents' source, when asked about the prospect, told La Provence: "There's no chance of that happening."
The 22 year-old signed for City in January and spent the second-half of last season on-loan with River Plate.
He is expected to begin preseason training next month with City.
