Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Sukma-bound gymnasts returned with one silver and four bronze medals in the 17th Singapore Gymnastics Open held over the weekend.
Despite not setting any medal target, they won the men’s team silver through Brandon Denoley Luise, Ammar Zafi Mohd Firdaus, Abd Izzat Daniel Abd Rauf, Jacob Hezron Andreas, Charlie Richie Chong and Liew Jun Xiang.
The bronze medals came from Brandon Denoley Luise (individual overall, vault), Abd Izzat Daniel (still rings) and Liew Jin Xiang (parallel bar).
