Michael Owen claims Manchester United's squad is just as strong as Liverpool's.
The former striker says, however, United don't play with the same cohesion as the Reds.
He told Sky Sports: "When you look at the Liverpool, for example, are United's players far inferior to them? I don't necessarily think so.
But do Liverpool's players play with a greater understanding and cohesion and confidence, yes.
I was talking to John Barnes about this the other day and he was saying he doesn't think there is anything between the two squads.
So, Manchester United have got great players but managers just don't seem to be getting the same tune out of them that the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp."
