AC Milan director Zvonimir Boban says new coach Marco Giampaolo was always their first-choice.
Giampaolo arrived from Sampdoria to replace Rino Gattuso.
It was an easy decision and a logical one in football terms to hire this Coach. We are very much in sync, we know the type of football that Giampaolo likes," said Boban.
The Coach hasn't made that many requests, as we all believe the more quality in the squad, the better for everyone concerned. For years now, Marco has been offering something different in Serie A, a concept of beautiful football that respects Milan's history and is what the San Siro crowd wants to see.
