AC Milan director Zvonimir Boban admits being out of Europe this season is frustrating.
The Rossonero accepted the UEFA ban in order to square away their financial fair play problems.
Boban said, Sustainability does not necessarily mean lacking in ambition. It's our obligation to dream and keep our feet on the ground too. We're convinced that we will do well.
This club and its owners have much bigger ambitions than people give them credit for. I wouldn't be here, otherwise. The important thing is balance, staying within our limits and speeding up the process that'll bring Milan back.
It's disappointing not to be in Europe, obviously. Milan should always participate in the biggest tournaments. We'll continue along our path and at least the Coach will have an extra couple of days to work with his team in training."
