West Ham defender Pablo Zabaleta has revealed this season will be his last in the Premier League.

The Argentine full-back is ready to quit England after his contract expires at the end of the campaign, after a 12-year stint that saw him win the Premier League twice with Manchester City.

He confirmed: It will definitely be my last season in England.

This is something I know. I will try to enjoy it as much as I can.

I've been in the Premier League a long time and I know I will miss it when the moment arrives that I leave.

I just focus on what we're doing to get fit in this pre-season and play as much as I can."

He added: The manager (Manuel Pellegrini) was one of the reasons why I decided to extend my contract because it is good to have the chance to work with a manager you know very well from previous years.

Also, because I think I can still give 100 percent for the team and use all my experience.

I know I am 34, I'm getting a bit old. I'm coming to the end of my career.

I'm honest with myself, but I'm still a good professional and I will give everything for the team.

I'm still enjoying being around the team, helping the young players."
