Manchester United are interested in AS Roma sensation Nicolo Zaniolo.
Il Messaggero says United are keen for Roma to include the midfielder in negotiations for the sale of Chris Smalling.
On-loan for the season with Roma, Smalling is wanted by the Giallorosso in permament deal - with a price of 15m mooted.
And during negotiations, United are expected to ask after Zaniolo.
The midfielder, 20, became Roma's youngest ever goalscorer for Italy with his brace in their 9-1 defeat of Armenia this week.
