
MANILA, Philippines — The Adamson Lady Falcons secured the third semifinals berth in the UAAP Season 88 women’s volleyball tournament after denying the FEU Lady Tamaraws, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23, at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion Saturday.
The third seed Adamson finished the eliminations with a 9-5 slate, making the Final Four for the first time in three years or since Season 85.
The Lady Falcons dragged the Lady Tamaraws to a 7-6 record.
FEU and UST (7-5) are the last two teams disputing the final semis berth.
MVP candidate Shaina Nitura pumped 18 points, 10 receptions, and six excellent digs to lead the Lady Falcons.
