MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala will bag at least €29,815 (euros) or more than P2.1 million in prize money at the WTA 1000 Madrid Open in Spain.
Eala will pocket €21,285 or P1.5 million for a first-round exit in the singles division and a share of €8,530 or P600K for a first-round exit in the doubles side for a combined payout of P2.1 million.
Eala faces Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the singles first round on Wednesday.
In the doubles side on Thursday, Eala and Zeynep Sönmez battle Chan Hao-ching and Fanny Stollar in the first round.
