MANILA, Philippines — After a third-round exit at the 1000 Cincinnati Open, Alex Eala is headed to New York for her US Open return.
"Coming for you NY," Eala captioned her selfie in an Instagram story on Saturday.
WTA No. 20 Eala will begin her campaign in Flushing Meadows with ATP No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the mixed doubles from August 24 to 26.
Eala then faces world No. 16 Iva Jovic in the Stars of the Open exhibition match on August 27.
The main draw matches will run from August 30 to September 13.
Eala is poised to claim her highest seed in a Grand Slam tournament.
