Sitting at No. 28 in the official rankings, Eala will raise her total ranking points to 2,106 if she beats world No. 3 Jessica Pegula in the final Monday midnight.
A 2-time 125-tier champ, Eala reset her career-best rank to No. 24 with 1,931 points in the live rankings after winning her semifinal match against world No. 13 Naomi Osaka, 6-4, 6-2, Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, Eala will bag $252,000 or more than P15.4 million if she wins the Washington title.
As a finalist, the 21-year-old is guaranteed $155,000 or P9.4 million.
