MANILA, Philippines — Filipino cue artist Alexis Ferrer clinched the WWW Billiard 9-Ball Championship in Indonesia.
Ferrer defeated home star Bachrain Rauf, 9–5 in the final, in securing the title and a prize money of 60 million Indonesian rupiah (P211,016.34).
This follows Ferrer’s stint at the Asian Pool Men’s 10-Ball Championship, where he was a semifinalist.
“The spider web finally worked!” Ferrer said in a Facebook post late on Tuesday.
Ferrer remains in Indonesia, as he, Carlo Biado, Johann Chua, and several other Filipinos are taking part in the Carabao International Open, which starts on Wednesday.
