KOTA KINABALU: Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) named Mohd Julpikar Ab Mijan as its candidate for the Sulabayan state seat in the upcoming 17th Sabah Election.
The announcement was made during the Amanah Sabah Convention 2025 officiated by party president Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu here, on Sunday.
Mohamad urged party machinery across Sabah to begin election work immediately and coordinate their efforts to secure Amanah’s first state seat.
He reminded members to uphold values, integrity and moral courage in their campaign, saying true victory lies in public trust rather than votes alone.
Mohd Julpikar, a local educator and community activist from Semporna, holds a degree in Syariah and Law from UIN Suska Riau, and has received awards including the Semporna Maulidur Rasul 2021 and Ma’al Hijrah 2023 honours.
