
Celebrations continued at Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, GT Road, as students rejoiced over their success in the CBSE Class XII board results declared on Wednesday. The atmosphere was filled with dhol beats, garlands and bhangra performances. Japjit Kaur, who topped the city with 99.2% in medical stream, credited her achievement to the hard work of her parents and teachers. Other high achievers included Ashmeet Singh with 98.2% in commerce, Ekamdeep Singh Sikri with 97.4% in the non-medical stream and Mehakpreet Kaur with 97% in humanities.
Chief Khalsa Diwan vice-president Santokh Singh Sethi, along with several management officials, joined the celebrations at the school. Chief Khalsa Diwan president and former Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar congratulated both teachers and students on their success.
Principal Kawalpreet Kaur said all 372 students of the school had successfully passed the CBSE examination.
Meanwhile, The Millennium School honoured its toppers, with Prisha Goel emerging as the school topper and city rank-holder with 99.4% (497/500). Other achievers included Navya Khanna (97%), Shreya Agnihotri (96.8%), Kaira Mahajan (96.2%) and Ishita Maheshwary (95.8%). Principal Shailja Tandon expressed pride in the students’ performance, praising the dedication of teachers, parents and pupils alike.
Stalwarts World School also celebrated its students’ success, with Naysa securing 99%. Other meritorious achievers included Lavanya Mahajan (97.4%), Dhanish (97.2%), Chirag Mahajan (97%), Jasnoor Kaur and Prabhroop (96%), Atharva Mahajan (95.2%) and Anmolpreet (95%).
Tarn Taran students excel
Students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Chabal, who excelled in the CBSE Board Class XII exam were honoured by the Principal on Thursday in a function organised in the school. Kirtanpreet Singh scored 95.2%, Jashanpreet Kaur scored 93.8%, Gurnoor Singh scored 91.4%, Sunita scored 90.6%, Maninderjit Kaur scored 90.4%, Sahabbir Singh scored 90.2% and others. — TNS
