Arman Tsarukyan has sparked debate after criticising Max Holloway following his loss at UFC 326.
Holloway was dominated by Charles Oliveira in their BMF title fight, struggling to impose himself throughout.
Despite that setback, his status remains strong, with speculation linking him to Conor McGregor’s return fight.
Tsarukyan, however, has taken a far more critical view of Holloway’s current level.
Arman Tsarukyan says Max Holloway ‘is done’ after UFC 326 loss

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani show, Tsarukyan delivered a blunt assessment of Holloway’s future.
He said: “Max is done already. He’s just going to make money and then retire. He’s not that Max anymore.”
‘Ahalkalakets’ then added: “He looked so bad in his last fight. I was surprised, how you cannot wrestle? Zero wrestling. You’ve been in this sport 20 years, and you cannot even defend a takedown from Charles Oliveira.”
The Brazilian’s grappling and pressure limited Holloway’s usual striking rhythm at UFC 326.
Even so, he remains a major name in the UFC, and has already said he is looking forward to bouncing back.
‘Blessed’ is reportedly the frontrunner to face McGregor in his UFC return, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Arman Tsarukyan also hits out at Charles Oliveira
Tsarukyan did not stop at Holloway, also taking aim at Oliveira’s wrestling credentials.
He said: “Charles Oliveira has no takedown. He has good jiu-jitsu, but wrestling? I’ve never seen him wrestle very well.”
That remark is notable given Tsarukyan previously defeated Oliveira by decision at UFC 300.
Adding to that, a rematch between the two remains a possibility, especially with the 29-year-old expressing interest in the BMF title.
His comments suggest confidence heading into any future meeting between them.
