Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits he may rest Martin Odegaard again tomorrow.
The captain was rested for victory over Sheffield United on Saturday and could do so again for their Carabao Cup tie at West Ham on Tuesday.
Arteta said, "We spared him the other day, so it (whether he is spared again) depends on how much we spare him and when we want to use his minutes so that he is at his best.
"It is impossible to play without small injuries in football when you play at this level every three days."
Going into last weekend it had been suggested Odegaard was struggling for form in the early part of the season.
