Ashley Young is on the brink of being confirmed an Everton signing.
The free agent from Aston Villa was undergoing an Everton medical on Tuesday after agreeing contract terms.
Young, 37, had also been speaking with promoted Luton Town.
The veteran wing-back made 32 appearances for Villa last season, where he also captained the club.
He is expected to join Everton's 5-day training camp in Switzerland this week.
