Aston Villa must make history if they're to prise Ruben Amorim away from Sporting CP.
The Sporting coach is Villa's top target to succeed the sacked Steven Gerrard as new manager.
However, Sporting will insist on a world record €30m fee for Amorim to depart.
The previous biggest fee paid was €25m by Bayern Munich for Julian Nagelsmann when he was with RB Leipzig.
For their part, Villa's billionaire owners are willing to shell out if Amorim approves the deal.
