Aston Villa are ready to deal in Ashley Young.
The veteran fullback was on Villa's released list published last week with his deal expiring this month.
However, Italian expert Fabrizio Romano reports Villa are keen to secure Young to a new 12 month agreement.
Both the club and the 36-year-old defender want to extend their partnership.
Last season, Young provided 2 assists in 25 games for Aston Villa.
