AYALA Land Inc. (ALI) and its upscale residential arm, Alveo Land Corp., are strengthening their presence in the Visayas with the planned launch of Alveo’s first residential village in Negros Occidental.

In a statement on Monday, Ayala Land said the development, set to rise within the estate in Talisay City, was part of a broader strategy to build master-planned communities that integrate residential, commercial and lifestyle components.

Ayala Land has been active in Negros Occidental for years, with developments aimed at supporting economic activity while responding to the province’s local character and long-term growth potential.

Unit Alveo Land, which focuses on premium residential projects, was said to be bringing to Negros Occidental a portfolio experience spanning more than 70 residential and mixed-use communities across 13 growth centers nationwide.

Alveo developments range from high-rise condominiums to suburban residential lots and mixed-use estates in areas such as Nuvali, Bonifacio Global City, Makati, and Alabang.

The company said its projects offer a balance between privacy and openness as well as leisure and functionality, with design-driven environments intended to adapt to residents’ changing lifestyles over time.

These principles are expected to shape the Northpoint residential village in keeping with Negros Occidental’s natural landscape and pace of living, it added.

The planned village was said to reflect Alveo Land’s confidence in Negros Occidental’s long-term prospects.

Ayala Land shares on Monday slipped P0.05, or 0.23 percent, to close at P21.25 each.
