The founder of a viral dessert business recently announced one of her newest products, the Tricolour Chocolate. Those with a sweet tooth were excited to get their hands on the product.
However, many were also shocked at the price that Aunty Jah, the founder of the business has set for the Tricolour Chocolate – RM60 per cup, which weighs around 450 grams.
RM60 dipping sauce
The Tricolour Chocolate is basically a chocolate dipping sauce and the RM60 price tag is only for the sauce, no sides.
Aunty Jah previously went viral for selling Ice Cream at a whopping RM18 per piece. The Tricolour Chocolate and other products are currently available at the Fantastic Food Festival by Kak Nab in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, which started yesterday (January 9) and is expected to go on until January 12.
In her TikTok post @sukadessert.hq, Aunty Jah also acknowledged the pricing which is on the high side, and said,
“Chocolates are expensive. I don’t encourage you to buy this alone, and this is also why I am not producing much of the Tricolour Chocolate.”
Last week, Aunty Jaa and her team set up their stall at the food festival in The Curve Shopping Mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, where crowds were seen patiently queueing for her food.
Aunty Jah, however, did not reveal if she sourced any premium-quality chocolate for the chocolate dipping sauce or her other desserts.

Social media users, on the other hand, were not impressed with the price that Aunty Jah had set for the dessert.
“Her desserts are getting more expensive.”
Another user urged the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Cost of Living (KPDN) to investigate the pricing, saying, “This is ridiculously expensive.”
“It would’ve made more sense if it was RM20, I would pay for that price.”
“B40 like me could only watch because I am not her target market. But the chocolate looks delicious!”
“Why are we encouraging this kind of eating habit?”
