
Kota Kinabalu: The “Back to School” programme, organised by the Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Darau Women’s Youth Movement, helped ease the burden of parents preparing for their children’s return to school.
The event at the Kampung Warisan hall received attracted around 500 attendees from the village and nearby areas such as Kg Kalansanan.
AdvertisementGagasan Rakyat Darau Chief, Datuk Mohamed Razali Razi, said the programme aimed to provide both moral and material support to children returning to school, raise awareness of the importance of education, and share resources with the local community.
“One of the aims is to be present with the community here under the name of Gagasan Rakyat. We come with sincere intentions, to share our blessings, and at the very least, help ease the burden of parents who are here today,” he said.
