Barcelona coach Xavi says Fermin Lopez won't be loaned out this season.
Lopez scored in their preseason win against Real Madrid in Dallas last night.
Xavi said: "He is a great signing. He is a very mature player who wins duels and is a leader on the pitch."
The Barca coach was also asked about fellow goalscorer Ousmane Dembele.
He added: "We don't know what will happen in the transfer market. I see him happy at Bara, but in the end it's the player's decision. If there is something, he will let us know."
