Basketball: 2015 & 2017 SEA Games Gold medallists rewarded with condo units

MALAYSIA Basketball Association President Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock rewarded the Malaysia women’s national basketball players for winning back-to-back gold medals at the 2015 and 2017 SEA Games with 19 condo units.

The Levia Residence units are located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, with a total value exceeding RM6 million.

The beneficiaries comprised 16 players and coaches from the 2015–2017 SEA Games women’s team, along with three long-serving MABA staff, in recognition of their contributions.

All 19 beneficiaries were also invited to attend a Topping Out Ceremony on March 5 for the units.

Each condo unit was priced at RM300,000, with an additional RM30,000 allocated for renovation, bringing the total value of the 19 units over RM6 million.

Lee also stated that if the national team wins a gold medal at the 2027 SEA Games, condo units will continue to be awarded as an incentive. – March 5, 2026
