Bayern Munich are confident a deal will be in place for Vincent Kompany.
After a week of talks with Burnley, Bayern are set to settle on a fee of 12m, says Sky Deutschland.
The Belgian has also settled on personal terms with Bayern to 2027.
Kompany's contract with the Clarets runs to 2028.
Bayern's choice was also for linguistic reasons: as a Belgian and former Hamburg player he knows German well.
