Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is happy seeing Vincent Kompany about to be named Bayern Munich coach.
The Burnley manager is a step away from being confirmed as new Bayern coach.
Kompany is a former City captain and Guardiola said: "I'm glad to hear that Bayern are interested in Vinny.
"I think very highly of him, regardless of Burnley's relegation.
I have a very high opinion of his work, his personality, his knowledge of football and the way he deals with the media."
Former Bayern coach Guardiola also expressed hope that the club will make the right decision.
