Jude Bellingham admits he was star struck in his first days as a Real Madrid player.
The England midfielder is now regarded as Real's most important player, but he admits he was nervous in those first weeks this past summer.
He told L'Equipe: "I was a bit tense. When you arrive here, with all the goals that they have achieved, it's hard not to think: 'Wow, this is the pinnacle of football'. The first few weeks, when I was getting to know them, I was eating next to Toni Kroos.
"Then you realise that they are normal guys, who help you feel good. They are very humble. It was a great lesson for me. No matter how successful you are, no matter what you have won, you can still be a great human being like these guys, who are an inspiration as players and as men.
"The first match with Real? I can't describe it. It's a dream come true. The shirt is so famous. When you wear it you almost feel like you're wearing a superhero costume. It's a privilege, an honour. You have to be at a certain level to carry it forward week after week.
"In five years? I hope to win five Champions Leagues, a European Championship and maybe a World Cup. I'm always as optimistic as possible. I don't see the point in playing thinking that we will lose. You have to go into every competition every year thinking you can win them."
