Bob Menery vs. Johnny Manziel: The footage of what happened in their fights
Johnny Manziel returned to the ring and stopped Bob Menery in a boxing match, winning in the first round.
While far from his peak athletic form, the former NFL star still had enough left to get the job done.
Dana White lost $10,000 on a bet after claiming Menery would never step into the ring.
The fight hit the canvas early on after both men traded kicks, and while Manziel’s ground-and-pound wasn’t especially heavy, it was enough for the stoppage.

Johnny Manziel finishes Bob Menery in the opening round
During his time at Texas A&M, Johnny Manziel was more familiar with throwing touchdowns than anything else.
But against the much smaller Bob Menery, he came out looking more like a kicker, focusing on leg attacks early on.
While White shared stories about Menery’s pre-fight antics—including being removed from a hotel for drinking—Menery managed to rally a bit once the fight went to the mat.
Still, it was short-lived. Manziel quickly worked into full mount and took control from there.
The referee stepped in with about a minute left in the round, even though none of the shots looked particularly damaging.
Afterwards, neither Menery nor Manziel seemed interested in stepping back into the cage anytime soon.
