Blocked for two hours by double-parker, man decides to use motorcycle instead

A MAN was forced to use his motorcycle from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, to Alor Setar, Kedah, after his car was blocked by another vehicle that was 'double-parked' without releasing the handbrake.

Through a post uploaded on the Threads application by Nnurulllle, the man was said to have waited for almost two hours in the parking lot of an apartment due to the irresponsible actions of the owner of the white vehicle.

The man was seen repeatedly honking to get the owner of the vehicle to move his car, but there was no response.

“I feel sorry for this brother; he was at the bottom for almost two hours, honking to get out. It's a hassle for people. Just imagine if there were an emergency. Here (the apartment), some people work the night shift and can't sleep because of the loud honking,” he said in the post.

The man had to eventually give in and chose to ride his motorcycle after the vehicle owner did not show up.

Looking at the comments section, most users expressed anger at those who like to practice the habit of 'double parking', making things difficult for other people.

They said such irresponsible people should at least leave a contact number on the dashboard. – June 24, 2026
