Brighton have a deal in place for Boca Juniors wing-back Valentin Barco.
The youngster has seen Brighton agree to pay $10m to Boca for his signing.
The Athletic reports Barco will undergo a medical in Argentina on behalf of Brighton before leaving for England.
The left-back will carry out medical examinations in Buenos Aires before embarking for England.
Barco will continue his career under the orders of Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, a contract is ready for him until 30 June 2028 with the option for a further season.
