PENAMPANG: The body of a second schoolboy believed to have drowned in a river here was discovered Monday.
Tomansi Olaf, 17, was discovered at 11am in Sg Moyog, around 300 metres from the Inobong bridge and two kilometres from where he had gone missing.
He was among six male students who went swimming in the Timpangoh River on June 18.
Strong currents swept him and another student, Harold Walter, away, trapping the remaining four in the river until a Fire and Rescue Department rescue team arrived.
Harold’s body was found in the Kg Pogunon River on Sunday by a villager.
The six boys, all 17, were all students at SM St Michael.
