Brentford boss Thomas Frank hailed matchwinner Josh Dasilva after victory over Nottingham Forest.
Dasilva jumped from the bench to grab the winner.
Frank later said, "Sometimes you hit the top level, like we did against Aston Villa.
"Sometimes you hit an average level, like we did today.
"We have a team that is willing to work hard for each other. Today I substituted five players who all made a difference.
"Especially Josh Dasilva. I'm so pleased with that because it's been a bit of a tricky run for him the last few weeks as he's been looking for his top form.
"But we know that he can produce moments like this."
