Brooks Koepka really struggled on day three of the RBC Canadian Open.
Koepka ended up posting a third-round 72 in Toronto as he drifted out of contention on Saturday.
The 35-year-old began the week at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in excellent form, carding rounds of 64 and 68 to trail the leader by just two strokes heading into the third round.
However, all of Brooks Koepka‘s fine work was undone on day three of the RBC Canadian Open.

Koepka has received strong support from the Canadian Open fans this week, and they were still behind him all the way on Saturday, despite his obvious limitations.
The five-time major champion was struggling with an injury on the driving range before he took to the golf course.
Brooks Koepka makes statement on mystery injury ahead of the US Open
Koepka clearly wasn’t himself during the third round in Toronto on Saturday.
He obviously didn’t play well but there were extenuating circumstances surrounding his struggles.
Koepka was asked by reporters to explain what problem he was suffering with out on the golf course on Saturday.

“Yeah, I don’t know what it is,“ he admitted.
“I’m struggling to grip the club with my ring finger and pinkie finger, so can’t grip it. So the club is kind of just, my fingers would come loose, it was kind of numb.
“I don’t know what the deal was but hopefully we’ll figure it out.“
Brooks Koepka’s mystery injury concerns
Koepka responded when asked by reporters when he first felt the discomfort in his hands.
“Yeah, the whole warm-up, I felt fine, I was absolutely good,“ he said.
“Then got to the range and went to grip the club and I just couldn’t even grip it. So it lasted — it was all day.
“Felt better the last few holes. I don’t know if that’s just the meds kicked in or what it is. But hopefully we’ll figure it out now.“
Koepka then said he received treatment for his injury on the 11th tee, before replying when asked if he has ever experienced this problem before.
“Not this. I don’t know what it is,“ he said.
