Bruno Guimaraes has been linked with a move to Manchester United, and there is already a connection between Old Trafford and his representatives.
Manchester United’s main focus for the summer transfer window is finding a replacement for Casemiro, who has already confirmed he will leave at the end of the season.
Having spent time together with the Brazil national team, Casemiro gave Bruno his endorsement as someone who could fill his role at Old Trafford.
United were linked to Guimaraes in 2022 before he made the move to Tyneside, and since joining Newcastle, he has established himself as a top Premier League midfielder.

United picked up Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5m, and the process was a smooth one for Ineos, with the announcement coming on day one of the window.
According to Fabrizio Romano, talks with Cunha’s agent went well, and that could be a good sign for any future move involving Guimaraes, since both players are managed by the same agency.
The Brazilian stars are represented by Bertolucci Sports, which is run by Giuliano Bertolucci.
Jorge Mendes also had a hand in Cunha’s transfer but worked alongside Bertolucci to finalise the £62.5m deal.
Bertolucci Sports also represents other notable Brazilians including Gabriel Magalhaes, Andrey Santos, Marquinhos, Andreas Pereira and Douglas Luiz.

Cunha and Guimaraes have built a solid relationship while playing for Brazil, which goes beyond just sharing an agent.
The Newcastle midfielder has regularly interacted with Cunha’s social media posts, particularly during his time at Wolves.
The pair have been involved with the national team since 2021 and played together in the Tokyo Olympics, where they helped Brazil secure a gold medal.
Guimaraes has spoken positively about Casemiro in the past, and he could soon be following in his footsteps at Manchester United.
