RANAU: The public here is urging the authorities to upgrade the road leading to the waste disposal site in Kg Tanah Merah which is currently in a bad condition.
A Daily Express check on the location showed the unpaved road was badly damaged to the point of being slippery and muddy during the rainy season and dusty during the dry season.
One of the residents, Jeff, 35, said the condition of the road was so bad that it could damage vehicles.
