Perodua has reduced prices across its Axia lineup by up to RM4,700, effective immediately. The company said the cut reflects improvements in operational efficiency, with all specifications and quality standards remaining unchanged.

Entry-Level Sees The Biggest Cut

The table above excludes insurance. If you’re eyeing the 1.0G, you’ll see the biggest saving at RM4,700, while the 1.0AV only dropped by RM500.

The older manual Axia E wasn’t affected by this price cut and still sells for RM22,000.

A Continued Push To Cut Costs

Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said the price revision is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to ease cost pressures faced by Malaysians.

He said the move builds on other recent cost reductions, including lower service and maintenance charges of up to 10%, as well as revised pricing for its QV-E electric vehicle and Battery-as-a-Service offering.

If you’re planning to finance your Axia, it’s worth comparing car loan rates across banks first. Just don’t let the excitement of the new price distract you from what you can actually afford to repay each month.
