- Cameron Norrie moved into the second round of the National Bank Open in Montreal with a hard-fought win on Monday.
- The British No 2 was tested by Argentina’s Camilo Ugo Carabelli, but eventually came through in straight sets as he completed a 7-6, 6-4 victory.
- This follows on from his promising run to the semi-finals of the Los Cabos Open in Mexico last week before he was beaten by Denis Shapovalov.
- Jack Draper was also due to be in action at the Masters 1000 event on Monday but was unable to get onto court as rain delayed the start of play on Monday.
- Draper and fellow Brit Jacob Fearnley are now due to play their opening matches at the tournament on Tuesday.
