Britain’s Jack Draper returns to action in Montreal after an injury-disrupted summer as he hopes to put a difficult year behind him. The 24-year-old has been awarded a wildcard at the National Bank Open, where he will open against Terence Atmane.
Draper hopes to play at the US Open, where he will most likely need to go through qualifying, after his world ranking crashed from a career-high No 4 down to No 147 following a series of injuries.
After pulling out of Wimbledon, Draper's last action was a straight sets defeat to Ugo Humbert in Eastbourne in June, where a promising display was immediately followed by yet another setback in his recovery from a bone bruising injury in his serving arm.
Linking up with Sir Andy Murray once more, Draper will look to build confidence at the Masters 1000 tournament, having made a late withdrawal from the DC Open to extend his recovery as much as possible.
Here’s how you can watch and follow his return to action.
When is Jack Draper v Terence Atmane?
Draper plays Atmane on Tuesday 4 August in the first round of the National Bank Open. The match was rescheduled to Tuesday evening as a result of rain in Montreal on Monday.
The pair are expected to take to the court around 7pm BST.
How can I watch it?
