SEMPORNA: A Toyota Nissan Grand Livina vehicle caught near a Shell station here, last Sunday.
The head of Semporna’s Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Madzlan Sarman, said he received an emergency call through the station’s line at 8.35pm.
A team led by PBKII Asmaraie Noordanig together with EMRS members and vehicles went to the scene of the incident located 2km from the station.
“The engine of the vehicle was 10pc burnt and the team extinguished the fire using fire extinguishers”, he said.
