
LABUAN: The attempt by Sabah opposition members to table a motion to revoke the Petronas Agreement warrants serious study or Sabah may risk losing even the 5pc it is currently getting yearly as “royalty.”
“It may not be prudent to revoke the Agreement at this stage. Deep consideration should be made on the matter because if the Agreement in revoked, it could result in Petronas having reason not to pay anything to the State Government.
“This will be akin to Sabah ending up not getting half the loaf it is now receiving.
